Market! Market!

Market! Market!, an Ayala property, is the fastest growing transport terminal slash commercial area along C5 highway. Unlike other malls, its appeal comes from its use of the tiangge (or street market) concept. It has Fiesta Market, Gift Market, Fashion Market, Auto Market, and Home Market to boast. As a transport hub, Market! Market! has just about any mode of transportation—Fort Bus, jeepneys, FX, and the new-talk-of-the-town-because-it’s-free-or-donation-based, the E3—to get you to a number of destinations. To name a few, some of these known destinations are Bicutan, FTI, C5, Pasig, and Edsa.

Actually, Market! Market! also serves as a hub for the most basic of all transportation modes—by foot. It is adjacent to upscale venues within the Bonifacio Global City such as Serendra, Bonifacio High Street, and The Fort Strip. (Come on! Once you walked your way to one of these venues, the rest are just a block away.)

To commute to Market! Market! :
Option 1
MRT-3thenWalkthenBus

  1. Get to the MRT-3.
  2. Get off at Ayala Avenue Station.
  3. Go down the northbound side, turn right and walk towards the Fort Bus terminal.
  4. Take the East Route or Edsa-Market!Market! Express bus. There’s no need for you to stress about when to scream “Para!“. You can actually relax your way to your destination since Market! Market! is the last stop of the said bus route.

Option 2
MRT-3thenWalkthenJeepney

  1. Get to the MRT-3.
  2. Get off at Guadalupe Station.
  3. Go down the northbound side and walk towards Jollibee, at the end of Guadalupe Commercial Complex.
  4. Take the Gate-3 route jeepney. Tell the driver to drop you off at Market! Market!.
  5. Note: You may opt to choose the FTI-C5 route jeepney found at the backend of the mall. However, the fare is a peso or two higher than the Gate-3 route.

Option 3
Bb. Toilette's WayequalsMRT-3thenWalkthenTaxi

  1. Get to the MRT-3.
  2. Get off at Ayala Avenue Station.
  3. Go down the northbound side and walk towards McKinley Road. There is a Shell station at the corner of McKinley Road and EDSA. Don’t cross McKinley Road.
  4. Walk a little past the corner of EDSA going towards McKinley Road.
  5. Wait for a cab on this area and hail the first free cab that you see. See Dugas warning (Bonifacio High Street).
  6. Tell Manong to bring you to Market! Market!. The most likely drop-off point if you’re coming from McKinley Road is the one near Fiesta Market and the water feature.
  7. Expected damage: Php50-55. Because there are other (cheaper) modes of transportation to reach Market! Market!, taking a cab is the alternative of choice only when (1) the line by the Fort Bus is impossibly long, (2) the people waiting for jeepneys almost occupy the whole terminal, or (3) you just can’t tolerate very public transportation (i.e. the jeep and the bus).

Option 4
MRT-3thenWalkthenJeepney

  1. Get to the MRT-3.
  2. Get off at Ayala Avenue Station.
  3. Go down the northbound side and walk towards McKinley Road. There is a Shell station at the corner of McKinley Road and EDSA.
  4. Cross the street to get to the Shell station’s side and turn right towards the Jeepney stop.
  5. Take the EDSA McKinley – Market route jeepney. Tell the driver to drop you off at Market! Market!.

How could i get there, If a came from Rosario Pasig?

  12. Mang Parfum says:

Hi darwin, drawing from a comment of our fellow commuter, Ken, on this post, there’s an FX from Rosario going to Market! Market!. The FX terminal is located on the opposite side of the gasoline station. You have to consider though that the route is only available in the morning around 8:30AM. Additionally, on the same post and as contributed by commuter Jon, if you’re somewhere near De Castro, you can take the Ayala-bound FXs and get off at Buting. From Buting, you can take a jeepney going to Market! Market!.
    Hope this helps.
    Good luck.

if in hurry, there is another option there – the speedy motorcycles. You can see them around shell gas station area or near the Fort Bus terminal along Mckinley. They are those men in motorcycles with an extra helmet on their handlebars reserved for their clients. Ask them to bring you to any place/building/street you want inside the Global City and they will thread the traffic to your desired destination. I think each express trip cost 30php.

  16. Mang Parfum says:

Hi dudung, thank you for your contribution. Yes, these ’speedy’ motorcycles as you refer to are also commuting options. However, TPC opted to not include them for two main reasons: first, such mode is not recognized by our transportation authorities and second, with the term you used to describe them, they are not that safe.
TPC greatly appreciates fellow commuters like you who devote time to help other commuters. Thanks again.
Keep visiting the site and spreading the word. :)
