Another crucial government form is the NBI Clearance. This form, while having no other practical purpose, is important when applying for a job. The NBI has opened several satellite offices in malls for easy (we’re stretching the relativity of easy here) renewal of the NBI clearance.
However, should it be your first time to get one, or it just so happens that you were unlucky enough to have criminal namesakes, (we here at TPC assume that those hits in your records are not actually committed by you) then you have to go to the NBI Carriedo Office.
Like any government office where you have to acquire your much needed forms, please be wary of fixers and people trying to sell you overpriced stuff. We remind you to bring your own pen, and remember that you don’t need a flashy jacket to store your NBI clearance in.
To commute to NBI Carriedo:
- Get to the LRT-1.
- Get off at Carriedo Station. The NBI office is actually attached to the train station. Follow the signs.
