RCBC Plaza

Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation Plaza, or simply RCBC Plaza, is located at the heart of Makati’s Central Business District (CBD). Being on an island lot, it is bounded by two major thoroughfares in the district—Sen. Gil Puyat (formerly Buendia) and Ayala Avenues. It has two towers, Yuchengco Tower (named after the owner) and Tower 2. Both are equipped with state of the art technology that is at par with the world’s best.

RCBC Plaza houses quite a number of facilities, namely: Yuchengco Museum, Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, Yuchengco Institute for Advanced Studies – DLSU, al fresco courtyard, seven levels of underground parking, and a 3-level podium featuring a chapel, a food court, a fitness center (with spa), a clinic, banks, convenience shops, and restaurants. The Canadian Embassy is also one of its numerous tenants.

RCBC Plaza is indeed the country’s biggest and most modern office development to date. Not only that, it prides itself for being the first to be granted an IT-zone status by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).

Do you know if there are any other loading areas for the Ayala-Washington jeep (going to RCBC Plaza) closer to Glorietta? The closest loading area I know is at the stock exchange, and that’s a pretty tiring walk to get there. :(

Hi Mike, I believe there is but it’s somewhat not consistent for utility vehicles to allow their passengers to load from here. There’s no harm trying though. Said loading station is the area near one of the entrances to Dasmarinas Village, on the other end of Manila Peninsula along Ayala. That’s the one in front of 6750 where there is a pedestrian lane.
    Hope this helps.
